It only took Bethel College (Tenn.) ten minutes to get the goal they needed to win the 2005 KIAC women's soccer championship.

Leah O'Grady scored in the opening ten minutes of the match to put the Wildcats up 1-0 over challenger Berea College, and the Wildcats never looked back, scoring six more times for a final score of 7-0.

O'Grady finished the night with two goals. Alicia James scored two goals, and Candice Cunningham, Cheryl Noonan and Colleen Quinn each scored one goal to help the team to the win.

This is Bethel College's sixth KIAC women's soccer title.

O'Grady was named the 2005 KIAC Offensive Player of the Year. Quinn earned the 2005 KIAC Defensive Player of the Year honor, and Bethel's head coach Misty Aird was named the 2005 KIAC Coach of the Year.

With the win, Bethel now advances to the NAIA Region XII tournament.
