IU Southeast Volleyball makes Fourth Consecutive National Tournament Appearance

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Nov. 21, 2005) -- Indiana University Southeast Volleyball will travel to Port Loma Nazarene University to compete in the 26th Annual NAIA Volleyball National Championship.
The Grenadiers are one of twenty teams who are making the trip to California for the championship tournament which will run from November 30 December 3, 2005. The Grenadiers (32-5), winners of at least 30 matches for the fourth season in a row have become a familiar face at the championship.
Head Coach Greg Hetherington is excited about his team's opportunity to shine on the national stage, "It is thrilling to be going to the tournament out in San Diego. It is truly a culmination of all our hard work this year." The Grenadiers are looking forward to showing what they can do against the nation's best. Coach Hetherington has no doubt that his team will be focused, "We all know what our goal is, we need to perform well and win at the tournament to advance our program to the next level, being focused is what it is all about."

Pool play begins at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 and will continue through Thursday until Friday when quarterfinal matches will take place. Semifinals matches will be played on Saturday and the 2005 championship match is slated for a 7:30 start Saturday night.
