Former Brescia University Baseball Player To Work For LA Angels of Anaheim

Former Brescia University baseball player Andrew Emmick has recently accepted a position as a strength and conditioning intern with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Andrew will report to spring training with the organization in Tempe, AZ on March 1st. After spring training, he will be relocated to one of their Minor League affiliates for the remainder of the 2006 season and will serve as the head strength and conditioning coach for that team. The Angels minor league teams are located in Mesa, AZ (Mesa Angels/Rookie), Orem, UT (Orem Owls/Rookie), Cedar Rapids, IA (Cedar Rapids Kernels/A), Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Rancho Cucamonga Quakes/A), Little Rock, AR (Arkansas Travelers/AA), and Salt Lake City, UT (Salt Lake Bees/AAA).

Andrew received a B.S. in Business in 2004 from Brescia University, and has a M.S.S. in Health and Fitness Management from The United States Sports Academy. Andrew is CSCS certified and is currently the strength and conditioning coach for the Brescia University men's basketball team.
