Mid-Continent wins the 2006 KIAC Softball Title
Mid Continent sweeps the tournament to win the crown.Mid-Continent wins the 2006 KIAC Softball Tournament with a perfect 4-0 record. The opening rounds were played on Thursday and the Finals on Friday in Owensboro. They won over Brescia 7-5 in the title game. Mid-Continent also won over Berea and Berea during the tournament. Mid-Continent will qualify with five other teams for next week's regional tournament.
