Division II Women's Player of the Week

Alice Lloyd (Ky.) center Becky Thomas is the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 30.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in two games last week, including 34 points and nine boards in an 88-75 win over Spalding (Ky.).

Thomas also had 27 points and a double-double with 12 rebounds in a loss to No. 17 Berea (Ky.), earning four blocks and finishing 11-of-17 from the floor in the loss. In the week-ending win over Spalding, Thomas was 14-of-21 from the floor with two assists, two blocks and 5-of-9 from the free throw line.

Thomas ended the week 25-of-38 from the field on the week (66 percent) and 1-of-3 from the 3-point arc, while her mark at the foul line stood 10-of-22 for the two-game stretch, finishing 45 percent from the line. She also ended the week with six blocks and two assists.
