VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK FOR SEPTEMBER 3RD TO SEPTEMBER 9TH.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (September 10th, 2007) The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce Player of the Week honors for September 3rd- September 9th in Volleyball.

Player of the Week: Tera Hollinden, Indiana University Southeast

56 digs in three matches.

Tera Hollinden was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for September 3rd- September 9th. Holliden is a 5-10 Sophomore Outside Hitter from Crestwood, Kentucky (Sacred Heart Academy). Holliden's big game of the week was a 12 kill, 33 digs performance in a five game match against Ursline College. Holliden currently is third in digs in the conference.

Setter of the Week: Jessica Green, Mountain State University

6 assists a game on the week.

Jessica Green was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week for September 3rd- September 9th. Green is a 5-10 Junior Middle Hitter from DuQuoin, Illinois. The middle match of the week had Green with 10 kills, 28 assists and 27 digs in a 5 game win for Mountain State. Green is third in the conference in assists and ranks in the top 10 on aces, blocks, and digs.

Libero of the Week: Jennifer Sloan, Mountain State University

Sloan leads NAIA in digs.

Jennifer Sloan was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Libero of the Week for September 3rd- September 9th. Sloan is a 5-5 Senior Libero from Beckley, West Virginia. Sloan recorded 46 digs and three aces in the Emory and Henry College match. Sloan has 30 plus digs in six of the 10 matches she has played in, with three of those being above 40 digs.
