CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS OF THE WEEK FOR SEPTEMBER 8TH MEETS.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (September 11th, 2007) The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce Runner of the Week honors for Meets on September 8th in Men's and Women's Cross Country.
MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Runner of the Week: Amr Abualnadi, St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
Amr Abualnadi was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Runner of the Week. Abualnadi ran a 16:12 time at the University of Missouri Rolla Invitational. His time breaks a school record he set last year.
WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Runner of the Week: Tierra Savage, Brescia
Tierra Savage was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Runner of the Week. Savage finished 33rd of 110 runners with a 21:18 time on the 5K course at the Madison Kiwanis Invitational. The race was run on the Hanover College course that has hosted NCAA Division III Nationals.
