Alice Lloyd's Rodney Mitchell Scores 1,000th Point

RODNEY MITCHELL SCORES 1,000th POINT AT ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE

Rodney Mitchell, a 6'8" junior forward/center from Clay County High School in Manchester, scored his 1,000^th point last Saturday as a member of the Alice Lloyd College Eagles basketball team. Mitchell reached the milestone in the first minute of the game on a 10 foot jump shot against Indiana University Southeast. Mitchell was selected to the KIAC All-Conference Team last year. He is currently averaging 15.3 ppg and about 5 rpg on the season.
