Players for October 6th

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 6th, 2008) The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce Player of the Week honors for September 29th- October 5th in Soccer and Volleyball.

Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week: Charlot Nacius, Mountain State University

Charlot Nacius was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for September 29th-October 5th. Nacius is a 6-0 junior forward from Delray Beach, Florida. Nacius scored a goal and two assists in the 3-2 Concord University win. One of the assists was for the game winner.

Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week: Miranda Wiley, Asbury College

Miranda Wiley was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for September 29th-October 5th. Wiley is a 5-5 junior forward from Colingwood, Ontario. Wiley had three goals on the week, including two in the Trevecca Nazarene game. Wiley is the leading all time goal scorer for Asbury with 40.

Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week: Kelly Wilson, Asbury College

Kelly Wilson was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for September 29th-October 5th. Wilson is a 5-6 junior defender from Versailles, Kentucky. Wilson and her teammates held Cincinnati Christian and Trevecca Nazarene scoreless on the week.

Volleyball Player of the Week: Amy Stultz, Indiana University East

Amy Stultz was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for September 29th-October 5th. Stultz is a 5-7 senior outside hitter from Beech Grove, Indiana. Stultz had 32 kills in 3 matches in conference against Midway, Berea and Mountain State. She had 14 kills and 13 digs in the win over Midway College.
