Soccer and Volleyball Players of the Week
Players for November 10th
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (November 10th, 2008) The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce Player of the Week honors for November 3rd- November 9th in Soccer and Volleyball.
Volleyball Player of the Week: Amy Stultz, Indiana University East
Amy Stultz was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for November 3rd-November 9th. Stultz is a 5-7 Senior Outside Hitter from Beech Grove, Indiana. Stultz had 49 digs and 30 kills over two matches on the week. She had 20 kills and 27 digs in a three set to one loss against Asbury in their final regular season match.
Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week: Ali Katrib, Mountain State University
Ali Katrib was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for November 3rd-November 9th. Katrib is a 6-0 juinor midfielder from Salamieh, Syria. Katrib scored the game winning goal in the KIAC Championship match. The goal with 3 minutes left in the first overtime led Mountain State to a 2-1 win.
Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week: Daniel Smith, Mountain State University
Daniel Smith was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for November 3rd-November 9th. Smith is a 6-2 freshman defender from London, England. Smith led Mountain State on the defensive end in the KIAC Title Match. Mountain State won the game in overtime 2-1 to win their first KIAC Men's Soccer Tournament title.
