Carrie Lilly Resigns as Head Volleyball Coach at IU Southeast NEW ALBANY, Ind. (November 24, 2008) - IU Southeast Athletic Director Pat Mrozowski announced today that Carrie Lilly has resigned as head volleyball coach.
Lilly cited conflicts between her full-time job and coaching volleyball as her reasoning for resignation.

"I am sorry to see Carrie leave but I understand the conflicts between a full and part-time job. I appreciate the hard work Carrie put into our volleyball program." said Mrozowski.

Lilly joined the IU Southeast Athletic Department in 2006, when she was hired to take over the volleyball program. Lilly led the volleyball team to a 2007 regular season KIAC championship and was named 2007 KIAC Coach of the Year for her leadership.

Before coming to IU Southeast Lilly served as the assistant volleyball coach at Bluefield State College in Bluefield, West Virginia.

IU Southeast will move forward quickly and immediately begin the process of searching for the newest volleyball coach for Grenadier Athletics. Please visit www.ius.edu/hr for more information about the vacant position.
