Soccer and Volleyball Players of the Week
Players for November 3rd
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (November 3rd, 2008) The Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is proud to announce Player of the Week honors for October 27th- November 2nd in Soccer and Volleyball.
Volleyball Player of the Week: Ellen Adkison, Asbury College
Ellen Adkison was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for October 27th- November 2nd. Adkison is a 5-9 Senior Outside Hitter from Bolivar, Missouri. She had 52 kills and 69 digs on the week. Adkison had 20 digs in the match against Centre College.
Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week: Hasan Katrib, Mountain State University
Hasan Katrib was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for October 27th- November 2nd. Katrib is a 6-0 freshman forward from Salamieh, Syria. Katrib scored a hat trick in the second half and overtime in the 3-2 win over Concord University. Katrib finishes the year with eight goals in the regular season.
Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week: Paige McDowell, Brescia University
Paige McDowell was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for October 27th- November 2nd. McDowell is a 5-4 freshman forward from Scarborough, Ontario. She scored three times and assisted once in the 5-0 win at Oakland City University. McDowell had eight goals and five assists on the regular season.
