WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP

5:00 PM No.1 Midway College vs. No. 3 Berea College: Series Split in 2008

Midway's lone loss in conference this season was at Berea on January 22nd 110-71. Midway won the home game on February 15th 96-85. Danielle Lascoe of Midway led the scoring for Midway in both games with 23 and 26. The team outrebounded IU Southeast in both games, led both team by Ashley Parker. Berea will look to the three ball to secure a third straight trip to Nationals. They shot 50 percent in the series win, while only 20 percent in the loss. Candy Walls led the Mountaineers in both games for scoring. Ashley Howard also was among top scorers but has the team high for scoring average on the season at 17. Berea will look to spread around the scoring as eight different players had 10 or more points in the win.

MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

8:00 PM No. 1 Indiana University Southeast vs. No. 2 Berea College: IU Southeast leads 2-0 in 2008

IU Southeast will look to complete the KIAC portion of the season undefeated after two previous wins on January 19th and February 16th. All Conference Player of the Year Craig Bryant led scorers in the first game with 21, while Derick Hobbs led the way in the second with 24. On the season, DeJon Gary leads in rebounds and steals for the team. Berea's All Conference Team representatives made their marks in the series on the boards. Charles Wandera had 11 boards in the January contest. Jordan Samuels averaged 8.5 rebounds over both games. Over the season, Mikah Turner led the team in points at 15.
