Softball Pitcher of the Week: Sarah Rapp, Mountain State University
Sarah Rapp was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for April 14th-April 20th. Rapp is a 5-10 senior from Richwood, West Virginia. She gave up on two earned runs in the 17 innings pitched this week. Rapp held Brescia to just four hits in a 2-1 win.
Softball Player of the Week: Shana Andres, Indiana University Southeast
Shana Andres was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week for April 14th-April 20th. Andres is a 5-2 sophomore pitcher from Floyds Knobs, Indiana. She scored 10 runs over seven games on the week. Andres also had three runs and went 4 for 5 from the plate in a win over West Virginia Institute of Technology.
