Shamyra Coleman was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for October 19th-October 25th. Coleman is a 5'7 freshman forward from Heerlen, Netherlands. She scored 8 of her 16 goals on the year in three games this week. Coleman compiled two hat tricks with four against Salem International University and three against Berea College.
Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week: Melanie Dickson, Asbury College
Melanie Dickson was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for October 19th-October 25th. Dickson is 5-3 freshman goalie from Kula, Hawaii. She did not get scored on this week in matches against Cincinnati Christian University and Berea College. The 150 minutes on the week added her total to 331 consecutive minutes without giving up a goal.
