Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week: Jessica Batey, Asbury College
Jessica Batey was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for October 26th-November 1st. Batey is a 5-8 forward from Maysville, Kentucky. Batey scored a goal in the school's first win over Georgetown College 2-1. Batey hadn't scored in several weeks after missing time for an injury.
Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week: Melanie Dickson, Asbury College
Melanie Dickson was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for October 26th-November 1st. Dickson is 5-3 freshman goalie from Kula, Hawaii. She only allowed one goal in two games on the week. This was one of three Dickson allowed in eight total matches in October she played in.
