1000 Point mark reached
Alice Lloyd Lady Eagle senior guard Kaylan Richardson joined a special group as she recently surpassed the 1000 point mark for her career. Richardson, a 5'7 senior from Owenton, Kentucky, reached this milestone on January 17th in a contest against Spaulding University.
Richardson is considered as one of the top three point shooters in the country. She is currently averaging over 13 points per game and connecting on 3.6 three point baskets per contest. This presently ranks her third in the nation for three point field goals made per game.
Kaylan had a career high earlier this season on November 22nd, when she connected on 9 three point baskets in a road victory over the University of Cincinnati-Clermont Cougars. She finished the contest with 29 points.
Presently, the Lady Eagles have a record of 12-10 and are working hard for the chance to represent the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in the NAIA Division II Tournament. Richardson currently has scored 1059 total points in her four year career. She will graduate from ALC in May with a degree in Business Administration.
