Brescia Wins Baseball Conference Playoff Series
Brescia defeats Asbury in slugfest to adavance to Conference Championship Series.
Brescia won 27-26 over Asbury to win the Conference Playoff Series. The game features several home runs including the eigth inning capped with grand slams by each team in their half of the inning. Entering the 9th, the game was even at 26. Asbury would go scoreless, while a single up the middle with a runner from second for Brescia would seal the deal.
Brescia will play in a best of three series against IU Southeast for the KIAC Title. The games are at noon Thursday, approx. 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, and if needed 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
