Jon Troutman wins KIAC Male Player of the Year
Brescia's Troutman honored for the 2008-09 Season
Jon Troutman, a senior from Owensboro, was named the KIAC 2009 Baseball Player of the Year. He was also the POY for the KIAC/Sunrise Unaffiliated Grouping and has a chance at All-American. Jon hit .421 with 60 runs scored, 83 hits, 56 RBIs, and was 14 for 15 in stolen base attempts. He also was a volunteer in our Rocket Readers program, which teamed a Brescia student-athlete with a Foust Elementary student with whom he mentored to promote education.
