Darrin Dorsey, Berea College -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

6-2 Senior - Phoenix, AZ

Berea College guard Darrin Dorsey was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, December 20^th. The 6-2 senior guard led his team to a 97-87 victory over conference opponent Cincinnati Christian and was a rebound shy of a triple-double while surpassing 1,000 points scored in his career. Dorsey ended the contest with 40 points on 13 of 18 shooting from the field and he also connected on 13 of his 15 free throw attempts. He also pulled down 9 rebounds and assisted on 10 other Berea field goals. Dorsey is currently ranked first in NAIA Division II in total assists (92) and fifth in points per game (25). Berea College will return to action on January 6^th when they travel to Shawnee State University.
