Brittany Bird, Brescia University - Women's Basketball Player of the Week

5-3 Senior - Millwood, KY

Brescia University guard Brittany Bird was named the KIAC women's basketball player of the week on December 6^th. This is her second player of the week award on the season. In two games last week, Bird averaged 26.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.5 steals. In a 71-52 victory over Fisk University, she scored 31 points going 10-15 from the field with five 3-pointers. The senior guard currently leads the KIAC in points per game with an average of 22. Brescia is off to an 8-1 start and will return to action on December 11^th when they host conference opponent Berea College.
