Women's Basketball Player of the Week: Brittany Bird, Brescia University
Brittany Bird was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for February 1st-February 7th. Bird is a 5-3 junior guard from Leitchfield, Kentucky. She scored over 23 points in all three games on the week. She went 4 for 5 from three point land and hit 13 of 14 free throws in a 31 point night against Asbury College. Bird also surpassed 1,000 points in her career this week.
