SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The Indiana University Southeast women's basketball team will play Jamestown College (N.D.) in the first round of the 19th Annual NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa. at 8:30 a.m. (CT) on Thursday, March 11.
In his 21st season as IU Southeast women's basketball head coach, KIAC Coach of the Year Robin Farris has led the Grenadiers (23-8, 11-1 KIAC) to its second consecutive KIAC Regular-Season and KIAC Tournament Championship this season. IU Southeast has also won 14 out of its last 15 games heading into the national championship.

Whitney Duncan (Louisville, Ky. - Moore H.S.) is leading the Grenadiers this season averaging 12.5 points, 3.9 assists and 3.5 steals per game. KIAC All-Conference selection
Alden Krausse (Floyds Knobs, Ind. - Presentation Academy) is also playing strong for the Grenadiers this season averaging 10 points, five rebounds and three blocks per game.

The team's last appearance occurred last season when the team made fell in the first round to Davenport University 88-62. The Grenadiers have also made national tournament appearances in 2001-02, 2000-01 and 1998-99.
The 32-team field is comprised of 20 automatic qualifiers from NAIA affiliated conferences and Association of Independent Institutions and 12 at-large selections, which are determined using the final Top 25 rating released on Feb. 22.
Thirty-one games will be played out in Sioux City. The first 30 games will be video-streamed by NeuLion, the parent company of JumpTV.
