Asbury University guard Adam Delph was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, January 31st. This is his second player of the week award on the season. In a pair of conference games last week, Delph averaged 26 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2.5 steals. The sophomore guard scored 28 points and collected 8 rebounds in a 95-77 win against Alice Lloyd College. He also scored 24 points and had 8 assists in a 74-45 victory over Saint Louis College of Pharmacy. For the week, Delph made 61.3 percent of his shots from the field (19-of-31). He also connected on 45.5 percent from behind the arc (5-of-11). On the season, Delph is averaging 16.1 points per game to go along with 4 assists and 4.5 rebounds. Asbury is set to return to action on February 3rd when they travel to IU East.
