Amy Alieva, Midway College - Women's Tennis Player of the Week

Midway College sophomore Amy Alieva was named the KIAC women's tennis player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 10^th. Alieva improved to 7-2 on the season after picking up two singles wins over conference opponents last week. She won her singles match against Berea College 6-0, 6-0 and also earned a win against Indiana University Southeast by a score of 6-2, 6-1. Midway defeated Berea College 9-0 and lost to IU Southeast 7-2. Midway is 6-3 overall and 5-3 in conference play. The Eagles will return to action on October 19^th when they travel to Asbury University.
