Indiana University East sophomore Carlie Rider was named the KIAC women's cross country runner of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 10th. This is her second runner of the week award on the season. Rider and IU East competed in their own IU East October Invitational. The sophomore runner was IU East's top runner in the inaugural women's 5K collegiate race. She finished eighth out of twenty runners with a time of 22:10. The Red Wolves cross country team will return to action on October 14th at the Wilmington College Invitational.
