Austin Houchens, Berea College - Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Sophomore - Bowling Green, KY

Berea College sophomore Austin Houchens was named the KIAC men's cross country runner of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 17^th. This is his second runner of the week award on the season. The Mountaineers competed against 26 other teams in the Wilmington College Fall Classic on October 14^th. Houchens finished the 8k event in 16^th place out of 298 runners with a time of 25:49. The crowded course and muddy track conditions led to slower times. Berea placed third in the event behind the University of Findlay and Wright State University. They will return to action on October 22^nd at the Southeastern Classic.
