Cincinnati Christian University junior Cara Barkes was named the KIAC volleyball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 24th. This is her second player of the week award on the season. Barkes collected 47 kills, 101 total attacks, and 65 digs in four matches last week. She ended the week with a hitting percentage over .360. The CCU Eagles earned victories over Earlham College (3-0), Midway College (3-0) and Mountain State University (3-1). They lost their match against Rio Grande University (0-3). CCU is 17-9 overall and fourth in the conference with a 7-4 record. They will return to action on October 25th when they travel to Central State University.
