Kristin Waechter, Indiana University East - Volleyball Player of the Week

5-5 Junior - Muncie, IN

Indiana University East junior Kristin Waechter was named the KIAC volleyball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 31^st. IU East finished the week 3-2 with wins over Asbury, Shawnee State, and Georgetown. Their only losses were against #10 Indian Tech and #13 Taylor University. Waechter set two school records for digs last week. She set the school record for career digs with her second dig against Indiana Tech on October 28^th. She then broke the school record for digs in a season during the match against Taylor University. The junior currently ranks 20^th in NAIA total digs (596). The Red Wolves are 30-8 overall with an 11-1 conference record. They will return to action on November 1^st when they travel to Cedarville University.
