Devon Gruver, Asbury University - Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Asbury University freshman Devon Gruver was named the KIAC women's cross country runner of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 31^st. Gruver won the Kentucky Christian Invitational 5K by a margin of 21 seconds with a final time of 21:26. The course was not in top condition and the field had to navigate muddy conditions while rain fell throughout the race. This was the freshman's first individual victory of the season. Asbury finished the event in first place. They will return to action on November 5^th at the KIAC Championship in Owensboro, KY.
