Caitlin Burroughs, Indiana University East - Volleyball Player of the Week

Indiana University East sophomore Caitlin Burroughs was named the KIAC volleyball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 14^th. Burroughs and the IU East Red Wolves won their third straight KIAC Tournament Championship on Saturday by defeated Asbury 28-26, 27-25, 25-19.The sophomore middle hitter had 14 kills against CCU in the tournament semifinals against CCU and then recorded a career high 16 kills against Asbury in the championship match. She ranks 17^th in NAIA total blocks (140). IU East will host Freed-Hardeman University in a NAIA Volleyball National Championship Opening Round match on November 19^th.
