Jake Simpson, Indiana University Southeast -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Indiana University Southeast freshman Jake Simpson was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 7^th. IU Southeast was 2-1 on the week with wins over Mid-Continent and Miami University-Hamilton. Simpson finished the week with an average of 18.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. The freshman guard connected on 60 percent of his 3-point attempts (9-for-15). The KIAC coaches selected IU Southeast the top team in the preseason poll. The Grenadiers will return to action on November 11^th when they play Purdue Calumet.
