Wes Cox, Indiana University Southeast -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

5-9 Sophomore - Louisville, KY

Indiana University Southeast sophomore Wes Cox was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, December 5^th. IU Southeast defeated St. Catharine College 88-72 on November 29^th and defeated Mid-Continent 90-81 on December 2^nd. For the week, Cox averaged 21.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3 assists. He connected on 66.7 percent of his field goal attempts (12-of-18) and 72.7 percent behind the arc (8-of-11). The sophomore guard recorded a double-double against St. Catharine scoring 27 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He currently leads IU Southeast with an average of 13.14 points per game. The Grenadiers are7-4 overall and ranked 22^nd in NAIA Division II. They will return to action on December 6^th when they host University of Saint Francis.
