Indiana University Southeast senior guard Jazzmarr Ferguson was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, February 14th. This is Ferguson's third player of the week award on the season.
The 6-1 guard led IU Southeast to a pair of wins over conference opponents while averaging 29.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.5 steals. In a 99-89 win against Alice Lloyd College, he had 32 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists. He also scored 27 points to go along with 4 assists and 5 steals in a victory over Saint Louis College of Pharmacy.
Ferguson currently leads the KIAC with an average of 22.65 points per game. He is also first in NAIA Division II with 3-points field goals made (94) and fifth in NAIA Division II points per game with 22.65. IU Southeast is set to return to action on February 15th when they travel to Brescia University.
