Men's Basketball All-Conference Team and Coach of the Year

Berea, Ky. (February 23rd, 2011) - The KIAC coaches have selected Indiana University Southeast guard Jazzmarr Ferguson as the conference player of the year and Will Shouse as the coach of the year.

Jazzmarr Ferguson led the KIAC in scoring this season with an average of 23.76 points per game. The senior guard also averaged 3.62 rebounds, 4.79 assists, and 2.14 steals per game. He led the NAIA Division II in total 3-point field goals made with 114. In addition, he was in the top five in NAIA Division II in total scoring (689 points) and points per game (23.76). IU Southeast finished the regular season with an overall record of 19-10 and a conference record of 11-2. They entered the conference tournament as the #1 seed and won their first round game against St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

Will Shouse was named the KIAC coach of the year after leading Asbury to a share of the regular season championship with IU Southeast and IU East. Asbury finished the season with an overall record of 20-8 and a conference record of 11-2. In his third year at Asbury, Shouse already has two 20-win seasons on his resume. Shouse played at Asbury from 1998-2002 and also served as an assistant from 2002-2006.
