Berea College senior outfielder Jerrod Moore was named the KIAC baseball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 21st. This is Moore's second player of the week award on the season. Moore had at least one hit in all seven games last week and finished with a batting average of .607 (17-for-28). For the week, he had four home runs, two doubles, two triples, fourteen runs batted in, six stolen bases, and scored thirteen runs. Moore hit for the cycle against Cincinnati Christian University. The senior outfielder has a batting average .480 on the season and ranks in the top ten in several NAIA Division I statistical categories. Berea College will return to action on March 22 when they host Ohio State University-Lima.
