Indiana University East junior Cory McKinney was named the KIAC men's outdoor field athlete of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 21st. McKinney finished in the top ten in three events at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational on March 19th. He finished third out of eleven competitors in the shot put with a mark of 41-3. He also finished sixth in the discus with a mark of 112-11 and finished eighth in the hammer throw with a mark of 116-9. IU East track and field will return to action on March 25th at the College of Mount St. Joseph Invitational.
