Asbury University sophomore pitcher Maris Harreld was named the KIAC softball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 7th. In game 1 of a doubleheader, Harreld tossed a no-hitter in Asbury's first game of the season as they defeated Alice Lloyd College 17-0. Harreld threw 5 scoreless innings while striking out six. Asbury also defeated Alice Lloyd in the second game by a score of 25-1. Asbury will return to action on March 12th when they host University of the Cumberlands.
