Cory McKinney, Indiana University East - Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

Indiana University East freshman Cory McKinney was named the KIAC men's outdoor field athlete of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 18^th. IU East participated in the Manchester College Spartan Classic on April 16^th. McKinney's top finish in the event was seventh place in the shot put with a mark of 12.89. He also finished thirteenth in the discus with a mark of 34.55 and tenth in the hammer throw with a mark of 33.75. IU East track and field will return to action on April 22^nd when they compete in the Wilmington Invitational hosted by Wilmington College.
