Indiana University Southeast junior Kayla Duke was named the KIAC softball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 18th. This is her third softball pitcher of the week award on the season. Duke pitched in three games last week for a total of thirteen and a third innings. She finished the week with a 2-0 record and a 1.58 earned run average. She struck out 18 batters including 9 in an 8-1 victory over Berea College. She also struck out five in a 9-1 win against Asbury University. On the season, Duke has a record of 11-8 with an ERA of 2.20. IU Southeast leads the KIAC with a conference record of 13-1. They will return to action on April 20th when they travel to Berea College for a doubleheader.
