Kait Ervin, Indiana University East - Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

Indiana University East sophomore Kait Ervin was named the KIAC women's outdoor field athlete of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 18^th. IU East participated in the Manchester College Spartan Classic on April 16^th. Ervin established three new IU East records on Saturday. She finished seventh in the shot put with a mark of 10.62. She also finished third in the discus with a mark of 36.10. Her hammer throw mark of 17.78 also set a new school record. IU East track and field will return to action on April 22^nd when they compete in the Wilmington Invitational hosted by Wilmington College.
