Vanessa Legg, Indiana University East - Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

Indiana University East junior Vanessa Legg was named the KIAC women's outdoor track athlete of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 18^th. IU East participated in the Manchester College Spartan Classic on April 16^th. Legg set a new IU East record in the 800 meter with a time of 2:51.56. She also competed in the 100 meter hurdles and finished in eighth place with a time of 19.01. IU East track and field will return to action on April 22^nd when they compete in the Wilmington Invitational hosted by Wilmington College.
