Asbury University senior Gardner Adams was named the KIAC baseball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 25^th. Adams earned the win as Asbury defeated Brescia University 8-3 on April 22^nd. He pitched 5 innings and allowed two earned runs on four hits while striking out seven Brescia hitters. The senior hurler ranks eighth in NAIA Division I with nine wins and is sixth in batters struck out per 9 innings (12.08). He has a record of 9-2 with an earned run average of 3.21. Asbury currently resides in second place with a conference record of 16-5. They will return to action on April 29^th when they travel to Miami-Hamilton.
