Cory McKinney, Indiana University East - Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

Freshman - Eaton, OH

Indiana University East freshman Cory McKinney was named the KIAC men's outdoor field athlete of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, May 2^nd. IU East participated in the KIAC Championship hosted by Berea College on April 30^th. McKinney finished second in the shot put (44-3), second in the discus (109-8), and third in the hammer throw (112-0). He established a new IU East school record in the shot put. IU East finished the KIAC championship in third place behind runner-up St. Louis College of Pharmacy and champion Berea College.
