Indiana University East junior Vanessa Legg was named the KIAC women's outdoor field athlete of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, May 2nd. IU East participated in the KIAC Championship hosted by Berea College on April 30th. Legg finished first in the high jump (4-11), shot put (34-5) and javelin (110-7). She also finished third in the long jump with a mark of 14-10. The IU East junior was named the KIAC field athlete of the year. IU East finished as the KIAC tournament runner-up to Berea College.
