The KIAC released the baseball all-conference team, player of the year, and coach of the year on Monday, May 9th.

Berea College senior infielder Jerrod Moore was named the conference player of the year. He ranked at or near the top in several statistical categories in the conference and in NAIA Division I. Moore led the conference with a .474 batting average which was fourth in NAIA Division I. He was also tops in the conference in slugging percentage (.863) which was third in NAIA Division I. Moore was the conference leader in triples (8), fifth in runs batted in (35), third in doubles (14), second in runs scored (49), and seventh in stolen bases (15). Berea College finished third in the regular season and runner-up in the conference tournament.

IU Southeast Coach Ben Reel was named the conference coach of the year. In his third season at IU Southeast, Reel led the Grenadiers to the regular season and conference championship. They finished the season with a conference record of 23-2 and an overall record of 37-13-1. They will open play in the NAIA Championship Opening round as a #3 seed against #2 seed Faulkner University at 2:30 pm on Thursday, May 12th. The opening round will be played at Hunter Wright Stadium in Kingsport, TN.
