IU Southeast's Jazzmarr Ferguson Named KIAC Male Athlete of the Year
Indiana University Southeast men's basketball player Jazzmarr Ferguson was name the KIAC Male Athlete of the Year by conference officials. Ferguson led the KIAC in scoring this season with an average of 23.76 points per game. The senior guard also averaged 3.62 rebounds, 4.79 assists, and 2.14 steals per game. He led the NAIA Division II in total 3-point field goals made with 114. In addition, he was in the top five in NAIA Division II in total scoring (689 points) and points per game (23.76). IU Southeast finished the season with an overall record of 21-11 and a conference record of 11-2. Ferguson became the first IU Southeast player to surpass 2,000 career points ending his career with 2,042 career points. He was also named to the NAIA All-American first team.
