Emily Underwood, Indiana University East - Women's Tennis Player of the Week

Freshman - Milton, IN

Indiana University East freshman Emily Underwood was named the KIAC women's tennis player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 12^th. The IU East freshman won her first career singles match 6-1, 6-2. She was also victorious in her doubles match with Kara Haynes by a score of 8-1. Underwood led IU East to a 7-2 victory over conference opponent Berea College which was the Red Wolves second win on the season. IU East will play host to Oakland City University on September 12^th and will travel to Earlham College on September 13^th.
