Brianna Strete, Indiana University East - Volleyball Player of the Week

Indiana University East middle hitter Brianna Strete was named the KIAC volleyball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 12^th. IU East was 3-0 on the week while winning each match in 3 sets. They defeated conference opponents IU Southeast, Mountain State, and Brescia. Strete had 18 kills against Mountain State which was a career high for a three set match. She also had a hitting percentage of .652 for the week to go along with 34 kills and 46 total attacks. Strete currently ranks 8^th in the NAIA with a hitting percentage of .415. IU East is currently 12-1 with a conference record of 3-0. They will return to action on September 14^th when they host Indiana Institute of Technology.
