Austin Houchens, Berea College - Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Sophomore - Bowling Green, KY

Berea College sophomore Austin Houchens was named the KIAC men's cross country runner of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 19^th. The Mountaineers hosted the Berea College Invitational on September 17^th. Houchens finished the 5 mile race in first place after finishing ahead of 87 other runners. He completed the race in a time of 26:47. Berea College captured first in the event by placing a runner in each of the top five positions and seven in the top thirteen. They will return to action at the Greater Louisville Classic on October 1^st.
